2024 Arrival and Check-In
Where to go when you arrive
If you need a ride from the town of Jackson or airport to your work location make sure you have filled out a transportation request.
ALL seasonal residents (regardless of housing/RV Park) will be required to register with housing immediately upon entry to Grand Teton National Park. Please be sure to arrive on your scheduled check-in date. If you arrive days early you will be turned away to seek lodging elsewhere until your scheduled arrival.

All personal vehicles need to be registered and assigned a national park pass sticker (limit 1 vehicle per employee). Bring your driver's license and vehicle registration to your location's housing office to receive your park pass sticker. Since you won’t have a sticker when you arrive, just tell the friendly entrance gate attendant in Moran that you are a new GTLC employee, arriving for the first time. They’ll let you pass, but that will only work once. You’ll need a sticker after that day.
Human Resources Check in & Required Documents
Human Resources check in appointments will be scheduled when you check into housing.
Original unexpired identification is required for check in. Even if you have previously worked for Vail Resorts and provided these documents in the past, you still need to bring them with you! When in doubt, bring them.
*Visa employees must bring their original, unexpired DS2019 and passport

Completing Required Trainings/Orientation
There will be a series of online and in-person trainings that will be paid and required to be completed within the first week of arrival. Your hiring manager is responsible for communicating your training schedule.
For online required trainings you are welcome to use your own electronic smart device (IOS, Android, Samsung, laptop, tablet, etc.) and headphones. Human resources will have limited laptops and headphones available to check out.
Employee Uniforms
Once you have checked in with housing and finished your check in appointment with human resources you will go to your home department and check in with your manager. Your manager will then give you a time for your first shift and provide instructions to receive an employee uniform (if it is required for your position).
