JHGTC Employee Housing Information 2026

 For anyone interested or already allocated a spot in employee housing at Jackson Hole Golf & Tennis Club, here are a few reminders and few things that are new this season. General information can be found at Teton Employee.

 Begin by applying for Employee housing via the  StarRez Housing Portal  

      Use the same personal email address you used to apply at vailresortscareers.com. o   *password reset link is only good for 1 hour*  

   *Same email address cannot be used by spouse/partner for application*  • Select Summer 2026 Application and, Jackson Hole Golf & Tennis  

Housing Assignment Options:  

Housing assignment preferences are considered and can be made to your hiring manager. Housing assignments are not guaranteed. Check-in is up to one day prior to your start date and by 1pm the day after your employment end date. 

RV living: If you would like to bring your own RV to JHGTC there are sites available in the parking area of our maintenance building. 

  Sites include electric, sewer, and water

  No alternate bathroom or laundry facilities available

  RVs need to be fully contained

  Site location can be dusty and loud during work hours which begin 6am in peak season

Dorm/Apartment living: Fully furnished double or single occupancy bedrooms in a dorm unit on-site or a multi-bedroom apartment in town. Includes multiple roommates sharing the common areas. 

Jackson/Teton County Income Verification

On-property A dorm and B dorm units as well as units on Powderhorn Lane in the town of Jackson are subject to income qualification verification BEFORE move in. Documentation should be provided to our JHGTC Housing Manager, Steve Hawkins, shawkins@vailresorts.com .

  Employees residing on-site in A and B Dorms must provide a copy of a legal photo ID and fill out the Income Affidavit form.

  Employees residing in a unit on Powderhorn Lane in the town of Jackson will need to provide:

o  all 2025 W-2’s o pages 1 & 2 of 2025 1040 tax return  

o complete the Tenant Application form

              

Housing Costs:
Effective April 11, 2026, the new rates for employee housing are as follows:

  $250.00 security deposit 
o The security deposit is fully refundable based on final inspection with housing manger, Steve Hawkins, at end of the employee’s season. Make sure     to schedule a check-out inspection prior to departure. 

  $16 per day for double occupancy rooms

  $19 per day for single occupancy rooms

  $12.50 per day for an RV spot in the maintenance parking lot 

  Rent is due biweekly prior to 5PM, Friday-payday

  You may select self-pay or payroll deduction

  Start date determines the total of first rent payment which can be up to 27 days of rent

Additional Information from our orientation slides:
All information is available within your license agreement when you apply for employee housing through StarRez. The license agreement is in force from the date of signing until the license is terminated (typically last day worked). A license agreement termination does not equate to termination from work, but the reverse is true (termination of employment then terminates your housing license agreement). 

 

Decks & Exterior:

  Furniture provided for use inside may not be moved outside

  No fires

  Hammocks and slacklines are not permitted

  Wildlife attractants (Food, trash, recycling, coolers) *a fed bear is a dead bear

  Trash and recycling (gated areas, or bear proof containers) Guests & Visitors:

  Anyone not specifically assigned to the specific unit

  Anyone not a current employee

  Guests are not allowed after10:00 PM Noise & Quiet Hours:

  Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM until 8:00 AM (9PM – 5AM for RV sites)

  Can be considered disruptive if heard outside a closed window or door

  Yelling and door slamming are always considered unacceptable

 

Pets, Service Animals, Emotional Support Animals:

  Pets are not allowed

  Service or Emotional Support Animals must be registered through StarRez

  Animal is required to be “under control” harnessed, leashed, and/or tethered anytime outside of your room

  ESA is required to be crated or caged whenever owner is not in unit room

  Violation may result in removal of animal or loss or your housing 


Prohibited Items: 

  Candles

  Illegal drugs- this include marijuana and paraphernalia 

  Outdoor fires

  Live plants 


Smoking/Vaping

Only in designated areas (Dumpster at maintenance shop, Dumpster at dorms) Minimum 25 feet from any structure
$250 fine for first offense
