Jackson Lake Lodge Housing Office

If you’re driving here and will have a vehicle this summer, it needs to be registered with the Park so that you don’t have to pay the entrance fee each time you enter. Bring your Drivers License, Vehicle Registration, and Employee ID to your locations Housing Management to receive your park pass sticker. Since you won’t have a sticker when you arrive, just tell the friendly entrance gate attendant in Moran that you are a new GTLC employee, arriving for the first time. They’ll let you pass, but that will only work once. You’ll need a sticker after that day.

If you are arriving by plane, bus or just need a ride from the town of Jackson to your work location make sure you have filled out a transportation request through this form 2 weeks before your arrival.

COVID-19 Testing

  • All GTLC/FRC employees are required to undergo COVID-19 testing within 24 hours of moving into Employee Housing, with the exception of:

  • Those who can provide documentation of having completed isolation and have recovered from COVID-19 within the last 90 days from arrival.

  • Those individuals who are fully vaccinated- two weeks after 2nd dose in two-dose series or 2 weeks after dose in one-dose series

  • Testing costs will be paid by the Company and/or State of Wyoming. These tests will be self-administered in partnership with Vault Health and you will receive directions on the testing process at check-in.

Completing Required Trainings/Orientation

You will spend your first day completing the "Ready for Summer" online orientation training curriculum which will prepare you to begin working in your role and have a safe summer season. Additional details and instructions for completing these trainings will be sent in an email the day before your start date. This curriculum consists of five to six different modules (dependent upon whether you are a people leader or not) that you will need to complete prior to your HR check-in. The last module will contain a link to request your HR check-in time for the same day or following day. The list of course module titles under the Ready for Summer curriculum are listed below:

  1. Welcome to Grand Teton Lodge Company

  2. GTLC Health and Safety Orientation

  3. COVID-19 Pandemic Response Training

  4. COVID_19 Policies and Procedures

  5. Incident and Safety Management System: Enablon - (People Leaders Only)

  6. GTLC Next Steps Guide

You must complete these trainings before entering any worksite including checking in with Human Resources. The training will take approximately 3.5 hours and you will be paid for this time (you do not need to clock in). **You may have other online trainings assigned to you; you do NOT have to complete any other trainings prior to HR check-in. Other trainings can always be completed later**

For required trainings you are welcome to use your own electronic smart device (IOS, Android, Samsung, laptop, tablet, etc.) and headphones. Human Resources will have laptops and headphones available to check out that will be sanitized after each use. In our health and safety efforts to limit the amount of contact between employees it is highly recommended that you bring and use your personal devices for these trainings.

HR Check-in - By Appointment Only!

The final activity of the "Ready for Summer" curriculum/training is scheduling your HR check-in appointment. Successfully checking in with HR with original unexpired identification is required unless you were placed on SIS.  If you are a rehire you are still required to bring these identification documents.  Do not assume that since Human Resources may have taken copies of these documents in the past you do not need to bring them with you! When in doubt bring them with you.

Employee Uniforms

Once you have checked in with housing, completed your online employee orientation and finished your check in appointment with human resources you will go to your home department and check in with your manager. Your manager will then give you a time for your first shift and issue you an employee uniform (if it is required for your position). If you are confused as to who your manager is - Reach out to the email address that was attached to your employee offer letter!
